BW Yangtze delivered

Dalian, China – 5 January 2009

The 11th addition to BW Maritime’s LR1 fleet, BW Yangtze, was successfully delivered today at 1100hr LT, at Dalian, China.

BW Yangtze is part of a series of 12 LR1 tankers owned by BW Maritime. The final carrier, BW Zambesi, is expected to be delivered in August 2009.

The naming ceremony for BW Yangtze took place on 28 October 2008 and was attended by representatives of the project team and sea staff.
