BW Shinano, BW Shipping’s tenth LR1 product carrier, was delivered today at Dalian Shipyard, China.

 

The double-hulled, 76,000 dwt tanker was christened by Joan Barbara Thomson, wife of William Thomson, a member of the BW Group Board of Directors.

 

The newest addition to the LR1 fleet further strengthens BW Shipping’s position as one of the world’s leading product carrier owner/operators.

 

BW Shipping currently has another two LR1s on order with Dalian, which are due for delivery in 2009.
